Our Client Promise At The Loc Pod, locs are more than a style — they're your crown, your roots, your story. We keep it real with expert techniques, natural products, and a vibe that feels like home. Every appointment is personal, relaxed, and made just for you.
- TERMS OF BOOKING - PAYMENTs
- A £20 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment.
- Consultation fees (virtual or face-to-face) are deducted from your final booking total.
- Appointments over £350 require a £150 deposit.
- Remaining balances must be paid in cash before your service begins.
- Card payments are accepted with a £5 transaction fee.
- Time Management
- 10-minute grace period is provided.
- A FEE OF £15 WILL BE APPLIED AFTER 10 MINS
- A FEE OF £20 WILL BE APPLIED AFTER 15 MINS
- After 20 minutes, your appointment will be cancelled and a £20 no-show fee will be charged.
- Arrival Expectations - YOUR HAIR
- Please arrive with clean, dry, and product-free hair.
- If your hair isn’t prepared, we may reschedule your appointment or offer an add-on wash service, subject to availability and an additional fee. Wash services are available as a separate service and can also be booked in advance for a seamless experience.
- Extra Charges
- Sunday, Bank Holiday, emergency, and same-day bookings have a £20 surcharge.
- Cancellations & Reschedules
- 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule.
- Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to a future appointment if sufficient notice is given.
- Less than 48 hours' notice results in forfeiture of your deposit.
- Sunday, Bank Holiday, emergency, and same-day bookings have a £20 surcharge.

- EMERGENCY SLOTS & SAME DAY BOOKINGS ARE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST & AVAILABILITY AND INCURS AN EXTRA CHARGE OF £20
- Touch-ups & Adjustments
- Minor touch-ups must be requested within 24 hours of your appointment.
- Full reworks or refunds are not offered unless otherwise agreed.
Aftercare Is Key We want your locs to thrive! During your service, and after its completion, you are encouraged to ask your loctician for custom aftercare advice tailored to your hair's needs. Because the journey doesn’t end when you leave our chair.
- Photography & Privacy
- Proof-of-attendance photos are captured for records.
- Images will only be posted with your verbal or written consent.
- Your personal information is protected and never shared without permission.
- Health & Safety First
- We follow strict hygiene and sanitization protocols.
- If you are feeling unwell (cold, flu, COVID symptoms), please reschedule your appointment.

Our House Rules
- We reserve the right to refuse service for inappropriate behaviour.
- If you experience flu-like symptoms, we reserve the right to decline service for health and safety.
- Please double-check that your email and phone number are entered correctly — The Loc Pod is not responsible for missed confirmations or communications.
- YOUR ALLOWED A MAXIMUM OF 24 HOURS TO OFFER TOUCH UPS TO YOUR HAIR. IF YOUR NOT HAPPY WITH THE OUTCOME. THIS WILL NOT BE TO REDO THE WHOLE HEAD UNLESS COMMUNICATED OTHERWISE.
- INSTANCES WE GO OVER THE REQUIRED TIME OF THE APPOINTMENT THERE WILL BE ADDITIONAL HOURLY FEE WHICH WILL BE DISCUSSED ON THE DAY AS WE PLAN AHEAD.
